Rewaa has an amazing opportunity for a Vice President of Finance to join its executive team at our HQ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Following a record SAAS series A funding round in MENA of $27 million, led by Waed Aramco, with the participation of STC, we are soon to announce series B funding! Our ambition is to IPO within the next 24 months.
Reporting directly to the COO, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to assume overall responsibility for leading a team of experts across various finance functions, encompassing Financial and Management Accounting, Strategic Planning, and Risk Management. This role operates within the dynamic and demanding landscape of a leading SAAS business poised for listing on the Saudi Stock Exchange.
Role Objectives
Provide support to the COO and the leadership team in alignment with corporate vision and business strategy, offering crucial advice on external factors and their potential business impacts.
Ensure the timely production of accurate financial and management reports in compliance with CMA, company, and regulatory standards.
Oversee External Audits and Reviews to meet regulatory requirements and deadlines, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices.
Guide the business financially to achieve sustained long-term profitability.
Manage risks and opportunities effectively within a controlled framework to attain planned profitability.
Help and assist with fundraising and as well as IPO readiness.
Uphold the company's image and culture.
Qualifications For Success
Internationally accredited accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or MBA graduate from a recognized and esteemed international university.
Proficient in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
Willingness to travel, conduct road shows, and effectively engage with current and prospective shareholders.
Ability to meet with banks, negotiate relationships including facilities, pricing, and covenants optimally.
Extensive experience in a Stock Market Listed Manufacturing business, ideally within the GCC region.
Proven track record as a CFO or in a senior finance position overseeing multiple disciplinary functions.
Experience With Taking a SAAS Company IPO.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to garner respect and trust from colleagues and stakeholders.
Ability to influence senior-level decision-makers.
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to achieving results.
Strong commercial acumen transcending mere financial reporting.
Performance-driven with the ability to motivate team members to achieve outstanding results.
