Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive organizational growth and competitive advantage.
  • Identify new opportunities for revenue generation, brand growth, and fan engagement.
  • Establish performance metrics and oversee the tracking of progress against strategic goals.
  1. Market and Industry Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting the sports sector.
  • Provide actionable insights to guide business development and partnerships.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with executives, board members, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Foster strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the organization in strategic discussions with external parties.
  1. Innovation and Growth Initiatives:
  • Drive innovation in fan engagement, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives in emerging areas such as esports, sustainability, and data analytics.
  • Oversee the development of strategic partnerships to expand the organization’s reach.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead a team of analysts and strategists, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  1. Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or a leadership role within the sports industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful strategies.
  • Experience in managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  1. Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic frameworks, financial modeling, and market analysis.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies, sports marketing, and fan engagement tools.
