The BIM Modeler plays a crucial role in the Agriculture & Crop Production industry by utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to create and manage digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of agricultural projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to enhance project efficiency and collaboration among stakeholders. The BIM Modeler will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that all aspects of the project are accurately represented in the BIM system, facilitating better decision-making and project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for agricultural projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various design elements into the BIM environment.
- Conduct regular reviews of BIM models to identify and resolve discrepancies or conflicts.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM software and best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations, utilizing BIM data.
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and trends to enhance modeling processes.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to BIM implementation.
- Ensure that all models are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes.
- Contribute to the development of BIM standards and protocols within the organization.
Preferred Candidate:
- 5-7 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably within KSA.
- Experience with Public Investment Fund (PIF) projects.
- Experience in landscaping projects, including hardscape and softscape.
- Expertise in Revit and other BIM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
