KM Customs Clearance and Cargo is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative with 1-3 years of experience in the logistics field to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance processes, and cargo management. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving new business, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to the company's growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Business Development:
  • Identify and target potential clients, including businesses in need of logistics, cargo handling, and customs clearance services. Generate new leads and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Sales and Negotiation:
  • Present KM Customs Clearance and Cargo’s services to prospective clients, negotiate pricing, and create customized solutions to meet their logistics and transportation needs.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Address any concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Market Research:
  • Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings. Provide valuable insights to the team for service improvements and new opportunities.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting:
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management on progress, customer feedback, and potential issues.
  • Collaboration with Operations Team:
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely processing of shipments, customs clearance, and cargo handling for clients. Resolve any operational challenges that may impact customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge & Training:
  • Stay updated on the latest logistics trends, customs regulations, and cargo services. Provide clients with accurate and timely information about the company’s services.


Skills

Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role within the logistics, freight forwarding, or cargo industry.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with logistics software and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Other Attributes:
