Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Architecture Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural quality control, with at least 8 years of experience in construction projects, ensuring that all architectural elements meet the required standards of quality, safety, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage quality control processes for architectural works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and local regulations.
- Review and approve architectural materials, finishes, and workmanship in accordance with project standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of construction activities and identify potential quality issues before they occur.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to provide technical guidance and address quality-related concerns.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure timely resolution of any quality issues and to ensure the project remains on schedule.
- Develop and implement quality control plans for architectural works and ensure that all work complies with international quality standards.
- Ensure that all required tests are performed and that test results are documented.
- Ensure that architectural works meet both safety and environmental standards and are in line with the client’s expectations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior quality control staff on best practices and quality standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS) for the project.
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in architectural quality control in large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, procedures, and techniques related to architecture and construction.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, materials, and construction methods.
- Experience in managing quality control on-site and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Transferable visa status.
