Logistics Officer
Job Scope
The Logistics Officer is accountable for overseeing the inbound operations and inventory management. S/He maintains communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage outbound shipments, follow up with clearing and forwarding agents and monitor the turnaround time (TAT)
- Process and document letter of credit (LC) for shipments
- Coordinate and arrange transportation of shipments to destination
- Cooperate with the sales and warehouse teams for smooth execution of shipments
- Coordinate with clearing agents and customs to maximize efficiency in terms of time and quality
- Verify customs documentations for exports and transfer of ownership
- Perform monthly stock audits
- Control the reception of merchandise to the warehouse and follow up on inventory levels and damaged goods if any;
- Maintain stock safety , accuracy and cleanliness
- Acknowledge incoming shipment from Main warehouse
- Booking incoming shipment in the system
- Collect KBB unites from technicians
- Return KBB or mail in repair on time
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field
Experience
1 to 3 years of relevant experience
