Position: Unconventional Reservoir Engineer
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a focus on unconventional resources.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., CMG, Eclipse, Petrel, etc.).
- Strong understanding of unconventional reservoir characteristics, production techniques, and well performance analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, health, and safety standards.
Skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reservoir modeling, simulation, and analysis for unconventional resources (shale, tight gas, coalbed methane, etc.).
- Conduct reservoir performance forecasting, production optimization, and well testing.
- Evaluate and interpret well logs, core data, and other reservoir-related information.
- Provide technical support for field development planning, including well placement, stimulation, and completion strategies.
- Work with geoscientists, production engineers, and other stakeholders to improve reservoir management and maximize recovery.
- Identify opportunities for reservoir optimization and cost reduction, while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards.
