ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES The Manager – Urban Planning’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Manage the technical delivery of the Oxagon Master Plan and any future amendments and updates in consultation and coordination with other technical disciplines / NEOM Sectors.
- Review project deliverables for quality, completeness and for compliance with the Project brief and OXAGON/sector requirements
- Work in collaboration with Oxagon team leads and senior management to support the delivery of the Oxagon Master Plan and associated assets.
- Provide project management during the technical delivery of the OXAGON Master Plan and any future updates through procurement of professional services, contract and document management such as conducting reviews, approval of invoices, scheduling control, implementing project controls in partnership with the Management Consultants, OXAGON finance, commercial and procurement teams
- Coordinate and manage OXAGON’s consultants in relation to delivery of the Master Plan.
- Manage appropriate interface with the NEOM Authority to ensure that the master plan meets the regulatory requirements of the Planning Authority and other authorities, Sectors and stakeholders which have jurisdiction in approving the master plan
- Prepare OXAGON and NEOM Board presentations and supporting material
- Respond to queries in relation to Master Plan activity and RFI in relation to the Master Plan development, progress and technical interface.
- Monitor continued alignment of Oxagon Master Plan with the NEOM sustainability urban planning and building requirements as well as NEOM performance standards.
Leadership - Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other communication materials tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Ensure that all stakeholder engagement activities comply with the relevant regulations and ethical standards.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Minimum of 10 years of related experience of which at least 3 years would be in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record of delivering similar services for master plan implementation and development of a similar scale around the world, and particularly in the GCC
- Experience should cover all spans of a master plan life cycle commencing from ideation, feasibility, concept, detailed, engineering and development
- Working knowledge of the principles and practices of engineering including environmental sustainability infrastructure, transportation and building development principles.
- Ability to work and analyze activities independently by collecting, assimilating, analyzing and interpreting data to facilitate decision making and drawing conclusions.
- Prepare oral and/or written reports and impart them effectively
- Formulate sound recommendations and present them effectively.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, senior management and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Urban Planning / Engineering discipline from an accredited University.
- Other qualifications including membership to an internationally recognized accreditation body would be an asset.
