We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Business Development Director to spearhead revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and lead strategic initiatives for a prominent Riyadh-based media production house.
As a key leader, the Business Development Director will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, nurturing partnerships, and driving the company’s market expansion and sustained success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Leadership
• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Identify and prioritize target markets, clients, and services to drive growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to expand the agency’s client base and market presence.
Proposal Development & RFP Management
• Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs to secure high-value projects.
• Analyze client requirements and craft tailored proposals, pitches, and presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and competitive responses to RFPs.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agencies, brands, and government stakeholders.
• Oversee the pitch process, from concept creation to proposal delivery, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for high-value clients, delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.
Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
• Position the agency as an industry leader in production through strategic initiatives.
• Explore and establish partnerships with complementary businesses and organizations.
Revenue Growth & Target Achievement
• Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities.
• Develop pricing strategies and contracts that balance client needs and profitability.
• Monitor performance metrics, adjusting strategies to ensure consistent growth and success.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient in RFP systems, including Etimad, Oracle, and SAP portals.
• Proven experience with governmental tenders and direct purchase contracts.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation capabilities.
• Solid understanding of the marketing and media sector.
