Job Purpose
To oversee and monitor architectural site activities, ensuring all construction and design elements comply with project requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. This role serves as a vital link between the design team and on-site construction teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and interpret architectural designs and drawings to ensure accurate implementation on-site.
- Monitor on-site architectural works to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Address design discrepancies and construction challenges by coordinating with the design team, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensure the timely and accurate submission, review, and approval of architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Conduct routine site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and propose solutions to meet project timelines.
- Provide technical support to the construction team and contractors to resolve architectural-related queries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Ensure that all architectural activities are executed safely and align with environmental and quality requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience including supervision and coordination roles.
- Experience with large-scale, high-profile construction projects is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and architectural detailing.
- Proficiency in design review and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
