Job Summary:
The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, and maintaining electro-mechanical systems and equipment. This role involves collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install electro-mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure efficient operation and prolong lifespan.
- Testing: Conduct tests on systems to ensure proper functionality and performance; analyze test results and make adjustments as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections; update technical documentation as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other technicians to support design modifications and improvements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
