• Develop comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with the project team.
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Manage resource planning, allocation, and forecasting to ensure optimal use of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare regular project progress reports, including earned value management (EVM), for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
• Oversee planning and scheduling audits to ensure compliance with company standards and contractual obligations.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior planning engineers and other team members.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the entertainment, construction, or leisure industries.
• Proven experience working on large-scale, complex projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management software.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Experience in managing project risks, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
