Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Performance Tuning: Conduct proactive performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases, including SQL tuning and database configuration adjustments.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures for Oracle EBS databases, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
• Installation and Patching: Perform installations, upgrades, and patches for Oracle databases and EBS applications, following best practices to minimize downtime.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues, resolving incidents promptly and preventing future occurrences.
• Data Migration and Cloning: Execute data migration, cloning, and refreshes of Oracle EBS environments as needed for development, testing, and production.
• Security Management: Implement and manage database security policies, including user access control, encryption, and auditing.
• Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle EBS database administration, with a focus on performance tuning and database optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and database management tools.
• Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN, Data Pump, and Flashback technology.
• Experience with Oracle database upgrades, patching, and cloning in EBS environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional - OCP) are preferred.
