Job Overview: This role is essential in fostering relationships with our distributors and ensuring market excellence across key customers and the broader trade. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, executing strategic initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible to meet sales and growth targets by being responsible for below KPIs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor and act as the primary point of contact for distributor inquiries to ensure alignment on sales objectives and marketing strategies in the trade.
- Conduct regular market assessments to identify opportunities and challenges within key customer segments and analyze competitor activities in the trade. Spot business opportunities across the market to address and build them further.
- Ensure all products are available, shelved with the right visibility, planogram in line with customer agreement and placement guidelines as well as all visibility elements (secondary displays, POSM, etc.) are executed across all stores.
- Implement monthly plans across all stores as per the plan set, track initiatives as per guidelines set and develop scorecards to share both internally and externally to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Gather feedback from customers and distributor to provide insights with internal teams to improve overall market strategies and update on any event/launch/activity done by customers/competitors which can have an impact on business to take required action.
- Liaise with marketing and supply team on planning initiatives that ensure sufficiency and growth, with finance team to ensure reconciliation and payments are on track, also with direct reporting line on key tasks and decisions.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience of minimum 3 years in field sales or a similar role within FMCG in KSA.
- Strong understanding of distributor relationships and trade dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
