Together we’re seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Engineer with Informatica expertise to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse architectures that support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
- Develop and manage ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring efficient data integration, transformation, and loading processes.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to gather requirements and design data models that align with organizational objectives.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security within the data warehouse environment.
- Assist in the migration of legacy data systems to modern cloud-based data platforms where applicable.
- Conduct regular performance tuning of database queries and optimize data structures for faster reporting and analysis.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to data users across the organization.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data warehousing and Informatica to drive innovation and efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Informatica tools (e.g., PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud).
- Proficiency in designing and managing ETL processes with Informatica and other ETL tools.
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse architecture principles, including star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault methodologies.
- Expertise in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake is a plus.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data governance best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize complex ETL processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
