Key Responsibilities:*
3D Printing Operations
- Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment for efficient production of parts.
- Prepare CAD files, convert them into compatible formats, and manage print files for various digital manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure proper material loading, printer calibration, and bed leveling for accurate print outcomes.
- Monitor print jobs, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments as needed to ensure print quality and consistency.
2. Maintenance and Calibration
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of manufacturing equipment, including 3D printers, following prescribed schedules.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical or software issues on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production efficiency.
3. Quality Control
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and functionality.
- Utilize tools like calipers, micrometers, and 3D Scanner for precise measurement and quality checks.
- Document quality checks and maintain records of parts to ensure they meet company and client specifications.
4. Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE (personal protective equipment) and factory-specific safety guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry standards for digital manufacturing and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with 3D printing equipment, mechanical assembly, and CAD software ( SolidWorks).
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving mechanical and software issues on machines.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in following blueprints and specifications to meet quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience: Prior experience in a digital manufacturing or similar setting is preferred. Familiarity with 3D printing processes and mechanical design is a plus.
