Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects within our organization. The IT Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Act as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report on project status to senior management.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and expenses to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
• Ensure the quality of project deliverables through effective quality assurance processes and testing.
• Handle changes to project scope, requirements, or timelines while minimizing impact on project delivery.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in project management and IT.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience managing IT projects, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
