Job Description

Strategy and Planning

  • Translate Partnerships & Capabilities Building sector strategies and policies into operational plans and organize the work of the Center of Excellence and oversee its implementation to deliver services and achieve its objectives
  • Manage and lead vertical and horizontal alignment and integration of all functional strategies across the Center of Excellence to ensure the cascading into measurable objectives and workable operational plans.

People Management

  • Supervise the team work of the Center of Excellence and follow-up evaluation of their performance by providing feedback on an ongoing basis and seeking opportunities to develop their capabilities in order to motivate them and raise the level of performance of the work of the department.
  • Identify the training and development needs of the Center of Excellence employees and fill the knowledge gaps to ensure continuous development and a high level of competence within the team

Budget Management

  • Manage the preparation of the operational budget for the Center of Excellence and control expenditures in line with the approved budget.

Center of Excellence

  • Direct the development and updating methods and tools for evaluating training outcomes.
  • Direct the establishment of quality standards and ensure adherence to policies and regulations in training content development and delivery.
  • Direct the preparation and updating of regular reports on the performance of the Center of Excellence and its programs.
  • Direct the gathering of business requirements for the learning management system, implement access controls, and screen content.
  • Direct the creation and maintaining of detailed schedules for programs and workshops.
  • Direct the delivery of customized courses, workshops, and educational programs using suitable methods.
  • Direct the evaluation of training results using approved methodologies.
  • Direct the Issuing of certificates upon completion of training programs.

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

  • Direct the development of Center of Excellence policies, systems, processes and procedures to ensure the consistent application and ease of operations for subordinates.
  • Conduct a thorough review and analysis reports submitted by subordinates and make timely decisions to ensure enhancing the Center of Excellence performance, mitigating highlighted risks and achieving LCGPA’s objectives.
