- Upload drawings to Hotwire computer systems.
- Load Hotwire cutting CNC machines with Styrofoam.
- Use of CAD/CAM software to program 5-axis CNC machines.
- Edit the G-Code generated by the CAD/CAM software to ensure that it is compatible with our machine and free of errors that may damage the machine.
- Use of 3rd party verification software to validate NC files generated before releasing to the shop floor.
- Program tooling drawings.
- Perform necessary cutting operations.
- Maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets.
- Select optimal tooling & cutting speeds/feeds.
- Make or offer suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability.
- Meet expectations for productivity and production goals.
- Provide consistent ideas for process improvements.
Skills
Qualifications And Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
· 3+ years of experience working with CNC machines.
· Understand measurements (cm, kg…).
· Attention to detail.
· Self-motivation.
· Work in a manufacturing environment (dusty, and hot situation).
