Key Activities

Manpower Planning

  • Work with ATS units in understanding their staffing requirements and make relevant recommendations
  • Create annual recruitment plans based on current head count and business strategy
  • Ensure efficient utilization of current workforce amongst the organization
  • Maintains an overview of current and future job vacancies (in liaison with other departments) and use this information to maximum effect in the career planning process.
  • When required, act as the primary point of contact with the HR Department on all matters related to Manpower planning to ensure alignment of the ATM plan and the SANS Plan.

Workforce Productivity Assessment

  • Ensuring the efficient utilization of the current workforce amongst the ATS Units
  • Assisting with planning, organizing, and conducting manpower requirements
  • Support development of Manpower documentation
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of staff movements within the area of responsibility
  • Monitor the attrition levels to ensure that attrition rate is maintained or below the policy standards.
  • Monitor the Unit’s Shift Planning System are updated on an ongoing basis to reflect all attendances and absences.
