Job Purpose:
Job holder is responsible for review and recommendation of overall risk management strategies, as well as evaluates and implements commercial insurance products to minimize costs while managing the risk.
Department:
Business Excellence & GRC.
Core Responsibilities:
• Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends.
• Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizations services and departments.
• Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
• Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
• Periodically collect updates from risk champions on mitigation plan implementation and emerging risks
• Managed risk register / risk system and ensure that the risk dashboard and system is up to date.
• Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
Experience:
6-7 years of relevant experience.
Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. or any other relevant degree.
