Job Role:
The main purpose of this position is to assist the Maintenance Section Foreman daily with the operation and maintenance of facilities performing a variety of, carpentry, HVAC, electrical and grounds work as required to maintain operation within the plant.
Responsibilities:
• Assigned appropriates electrician personnel to various electrical tasks throughout the plant.
• Monitors the completion of electrical jobs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ensures the preventive maintenance are completed according to the schedule.
• Controls the rescheduling of uncompleted preventive maintenance.
• Under the supervision of the senior maintenance foreman, administers the electrician’s training program, including individual progress evaluations.
• Writes the initial performance evaluation on all electrician personnel for the report period and submits them to the senior maintenance foreman.
• Performs electrician design work and major electrical maintenance tasks as necessary.

• Instructs all maintenance personnel in electrical safety procedures and monitors personnel for compliance.
• Ensures that all electricians are provided with adequate tool kits and that the tools are properly maintained.
• Monitors electrician work area and job sites for cleanliness.
• Can fill in for the maintenance foreman in his absence.
• Understands, follows, and enforces all plant safety, work, and attendance rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Candidate:
- +3 Years in electrical maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools related to electrical work.
- Ability to work in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification is preferred.
