Accountabilities: Main Activities / Responsibilities

1. Reviews client’s Technical Documentation and requirements to understand the scope of work

and prepares and agreeing projects specifications with Client and consultants.

Review specification for instruments & implement instrument detail design on P&ID's.

3. Review the technical documentation for electrical & instrumentation and systems requisition

and perform the technical evaluation. Provide technical support to project team.

4.

Manage Electrical designing activities for systems and review drawings and documents.

5.

Optimizing electrical & instrumentation systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in

compliance with the required standard & performance.

6.

Review instrument data sheet and loop diagram & instruments material take-off. Implementing

detail engineering activities (layouts, routings, supports).

7.

Review of MR (Material Requisition) review and comparison of technical Quotations.

8. Review documents with complete integration details (Control loop diagram, instrument Hook-

up drawing, instrument interconnection drawing, cable schedule, Cable block diagram.)

9. Meeting vendor and suppliers for technical discussion and conclusion, to meet standard and

requirements.

10. Lead in in-progress & final inspection at vendor works for control panels, PLC Panel & other

items.

11. Review of post order technical documents from vendor and auxiliary submission to client for

review and approval.

Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor of engineering or equivalent or Diploma

B. Minimum Experience:

- 7 - 12 Years.

C. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

- Preferred AutoCAD, Cad Worx plant 3D experience.

- Preferred experience and knowledge in international design code and Saudi Aramco standards.

- Perform general tasks and operation of Microsoft Outlook, create/edit documents and operate

Microsoft Word, create/design, to make edits, and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

- Mathematical Skills to complete calculations and estimates.

- Communication and Good Computer Skill.

- Knowledge of health and safety requirements in order to design in line with industry standards.
