A semi-government organization is looking for a competent, detail-oriented, and organized Strategic Planning Director to contribute to the management, preparation, development, and monitoring of strategic plans to ensure alignment with the strategy of the organization's initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and Oversee Strategic Plans:
Contribute to the formulation, preparation, and development of the organization's strategic performance execution strategies and plans, ensuring proper implementation to achieve goals through supervising daily operations within the strategic planning department and providing direction to achieve the highest performance standards.
- Performance Management and Strategic Targets:
Supervise the selection of performance indicators and review the strategic targets of the departments, ensuring their feasibility. Establish a comprehensive methodology for institutional performance management at the organization's level.
- Reporting and Risk Identification:
Prepare reports on the organization's performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to strategic goals, identifying risks and obstacles to ensure alignment with the established strategic plans.
- Analysis and Strategic Planning Updates:
Contribute to analyzing and studying the anticipated impact of the organization on macroeconomic indicators, ensuring the continuous updating of the center’s strategic plans in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Evaluation Methodologies:
Assist in applying appropriate methodologies to assess strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and opportunities in the context of continuous updates to strategic plans and institutional performance, with periodic reporting on these matters.
Handle any additional tasks assigned by the direct manager and analyze non-conformance cases within the department to take corrective actions as necessary.
Set quality objectives, monitor process performance indicators, and follow up on their achievement.
- Continuous Improvement Projects:
Prepare and follow up on improvement projects to enhance the satisfaction of the department's service beneficiaries.
Contribute to developing, documenting, and disseminating knowledge within the organization.
Skills and Experience:
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Professional Certifications:
- Preferably holds a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Work Experience
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, business management, or a related field.
