Job Purpose:

The Compliance Associate will assist in ensuring that AIC complies with all relevant statutory and regulatory guidelines. This role involves supporting business activities to adhere to rules set by authorities, reporting any violations or potential risks, and maintaining clear communication with regulatory bodies. Additionally, the Compliance Associate will help establish and manage a comprehensive Compliance Database and Risk Universe, ensuring that all processes follow approved compliance policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assisting in developing the compliance framework and annual work plan to ensure abide by laws and regulations.
• Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Contributing to the development and review of internal compliance policies, ensuring compliance with government regulations and contractual agreements.
• Preparing regular reports to keep the AIC Board informed on compliance, Anti-Fraud, and AML efforts.
• Conducting comprehensive Compliance & AML reviews across AIC departments.
• Reviewing internal policies related to Compliance, Anti-Fraud, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and overseeing their effective implementation.
• Ensuring appropriate compliance training, particularly on KYC/AML procedures, for all employees.
• Maintaining a strong compliance communication program, promoting awareness of the Code of Conduct, and staying up to date with new and existing compliance issues.
• Facilitating effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Reviewing the compliance risk assessments to ensure accurate application of the company's Risk Assessment Framework.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Accounting, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
• 4-6 years of experience
• GRCP, Or any other compliance certification
