Role Summary: The Communications, Events & PR Manager will help to create and promote the corporate identity and mission to customers, the public, and employees through the creation and distribution of brochures, news releases, and other documents, build media relations and presence to the brand, and manage corporate events while overseeing internal events.
Responsibilities: - Plan and arrange events, meet with vendors, and ensure briefing is clear and delivered in the right way.
- Build relations with PR and media.
- Build PR, Media, Communications, Events KPIs and measure ROI.
- Oversees and produces, from concept to completion, a broad array of digital and/or print promotional and communication materials for the organization.
- Ensures that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and/or brand.
- Plans, prepares, and distributes original promotional content such as articles, news and press releases, email, blog and social media posts, and other updates on behalf of the organization.
- Promotes and attends special events and functions; promotes and reports on corporate milestones and activities such as company goals and projects; new products or services.
- Arranges for photography and/or press coverage for special events.
- Keep business & department updated with all media, events, and communication opportunities.
- Support team and direct them on PR, Events, Communications.
- Support in media communications, by developing press stories that are in support of the business/product’s goals and objectives.
- Monitoring of media placements, maintenance of the business’s media databases, assisting and pitching in journalist enquiries, drafting materials for conventional public relations, among other administrative tasks as is necessary.
Education, Certifications and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- 5 years of experience in marketing, publications, or a related field required.
Required Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic & English.
- Extremely proficient with power point (presentations creation), Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible working hours in events and peak days.
- Extremely professional to represent brand image through responsibilities.
