Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to assist with the loading, unloading, and moving of materials within our warehouse or storage facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently while following all company procedures and guidelines.
Job Responsibility:
- Operate the forklift to move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition
- Safely stack and store materials in designated areas
- Assist with inventory control by keeping track of materials using appropriate documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift to prevent accidents or injuries
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role
- Valid forklift certification or license
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
