About the role:
Overseeing a variety of logistics tasks as outlined by the Logistics Manager. This role supports the implementation of logistics plans, procedures, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure that goods are delivered safely, on time, and within budget to meet project needs efficiently.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the coordination of operations and logistics across various teams and projects.
- Ensure the integration of safety protocols in all logistics processes, activities, and goals.
- Facilitate the timely and accurate completion of milestones and performance reports to meet project requirements.
- Provide analysis on costs, transportability, services, and terms & conditions to support project proposals, procurement, and selection of logistics service providers.
- Assist in developing logistics cost estimates, job-hour requirements, and reports for project budgeting and management.
- Participate in or prepare logistics studies under supervision.
- Monitor and oversee logistics service providers to ensure contract compliance and performance standards are met.
- Contribute to the development and execution of logistics strategies and master planning.
- Assist in the formation and administration of logistics service agreements.
- Support the development and closeout of commercial logistics budgets.
- Apply knowledge of business administration procedures, tools, and ethics to logistics operations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual logistics reports.
Profile:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the MEP, engineering, or construction industries.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Must be proficient in computer skills, with a strong understanding of MS Office. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
