We are seeking a Lead Interior Design Manager with extensive experience in the design and execution of workplace and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, delivering innovative design concepts, and managing projects from inception to completion. Role Overview:

The Lead Interior Design Manager is responsible for driving the overall design vision for workplace projects, ensuring the seamless execution of design strategies, and maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge, innovative spaces that enhance functionality, brand identity, and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

•Lead and manage design teams on multiple workplace and fit-out projects simultaneously.

•Oversee all project phases, from conceptual design through to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

2. Strategic Planning:

•Develop and implement design strategies that align with client objectives, optimize space utilization, and reflect industry trends.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and client expectations are exceeded.

3. Client Relationship Management:

•Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their vision, needs, and goals.

•Provide tailored design solutions and regular updates to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.

4. Design Innovation:

•Integrate innovative design concepts and sustainable practices into workplace projects.

•Stay informed of emerging trends, materials, and technologies in interior design and fit-out.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control:

•Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient cost control without compromising design quality.

•Oversee procurement processes and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.

6. Regulatory Compliance:

•Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, legal regulations, and safety requirements.

•Conduct regular site visits to ensure design integrity and adherence to codes.

7. Team Collaboration:

•Mentor and develop junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

•Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.

8. Technical Proficiency:

•Utilize advanced design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for the development of design layouts and plans.

•Stay up to date with the latest construction techniques and technologies.

9. Problem-Solving:

•Identify and resolve design-related challenges, ensuring that projects remain on track and meet client expectations.

•Proactively troubleshoot issues related to design feasibility, materials, and construction methods.

Skills

•Minimum of 14 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on workplace and fit-out projects.

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

•Proven experience managing large-scale projects and leading design teams.

•Strong understanding of workplace design principles, space planning, and sustainability practices.

•Excellent client management, communication, and negotiation skills.

•Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

•Willingness to relocate for project opportunities.
