The Accountant position in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a vital role within the telecommunications and IT services sector. Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
  2. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and tax laws.
  3. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of accounts to identify discrepancies.
  4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
  5. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  7. Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  8. Support the implementation of financial software and systems for better reporting.
  9. Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
  10. Provide training and support to junior accounting staff as needed.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Previous experience using Zoho Software
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Experience in the telecommunications or IT services industry.
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  9. Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
