Key Accountabilities:



  • Provide feedback within RM team for class and fare structure for assigned routes.
  • Provide feedback within RM team for sales and travel fees and terms and conditions of carriage.
  •  Responsible for maximization of revenue per flight by optimizing yield, and load-factors on assigned routes without adverse effects on market share.
  • Benchmark and monitor pricing strategy versus the competition by day-to-day inventory management using third party tools like Infare
  • Analyze market price and booking intakes to forecast future trends based on historical data, booking intakes, and market insights.
  • Maintain routes in line with performance and budget expectations through the careful management of the inventories for each fare-class.
  • Adjust inventories with respect to seasonality and holiday & special events calendar.
  • Implement overbooking policy to maximize revenue for each flight based on no-show rates.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for capacity adjustment (aircraft upgrade/downgrade, ad-hoc flight/frequency addition/cancellation) to improve RASK (Revenue per Available Seat Km).
  • Analyze and identify opportunities for tactical pricing actions to generate incremental traffic.
  • Perform frequent analysis on market level issues and present the findings and recommendations to line manager.
  • Provide support for group fare quotations.
  • Implement lid changes for payload restrictions.
  • Regularly analyze historical data to improve inventory management.
  • Provide standard and ad-hoc reporting for a variety of departments and levels within the company or RM whenever required.









Skills

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor or MBA ( Economics , Industrial Engineers ,BA graduates preferred )

Professional Experience

  • Experience in Pricing & Revenue Management in an airline, preferably in a low-cost carrier, is a plus.
  • Fluent written, spoken and reading capability in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumen
  • 2 years of Pricing & Revenue Management experience in an airline
