Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Director to lead and manage our IT operations department. The IT Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall performance and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and improvement in our IT operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage a team of IT professionals, including IT managers, systems administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
2. Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
3. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure, servers, systems, and applications.
4. Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems, including the management of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
5. Collaborate with other departments to identify IT needs and align IT operations with business objectives.
6. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for ICT hardware, software, and services.
7. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in technology to enhance IT operations and drive innovation.
8. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize IT operations.
9. Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data, systems, and networks.
10. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the executive team and other stakeholders.
Job Requirement
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, information systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior management role overseeing IT operations.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and operations, including hardware, software, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with network administration, databases, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity practices.
