Job Summary:
The QC/QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of infrastructure projects, including roads, water networks, sewage systems, electrical installations, and telecommunications installations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of quality control and assurance processes specific to infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Planning: Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures for infrastructure projects.
Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials, processes, and completed works to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Documentation Review: Review and approve quality-related documentation, including test reports, material submittals, and inspection records.
Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document non-conformance issues and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with local and international standards, regulations, and safety requirements related to infrastructure projects.
Reporting: Prepare and present quality performance reports to management, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in quality control and assurance for infrastructure projects (roads, water networks, sewage, electrical installations, telecommunications).
