Role Purpose: To handle collections of payments and installments from respective stakeholders, document collection status, and develop reports highlighting progress towards set collection target.
Key Activities:
· Payment Collection
Notify clients, brokers, CREs, and outsourced vendors of due payments and installments.
Identify amounts pending from clients in Key Accounts and follow up on payment collection.
Follow up on collection of payments related to claims from reinsurance companies and interfere if needed to enable timely payment collection.
Establish payment collection channels for customers of delinquent accounts including mail, telephone, or personal visits to encourage payment.
Ensure collection of payments from customers of delinquent accounts to avoid any further delay.
Review payment issues preventing delay in account settlement with lapsed accounts and propose corrective measures.
· Documentation and Reporting.
Document collection status to ensure due/collected payments are updated and keep track of achievement of collection target.
Develop monthly and quarterly reports highlighting updates, unresolved issues, and progress towards collection target.
Identify and design possible refinements to the collection process to ensure timely payments and avoid future delays * Policies, Procedures and Processes.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance productivity, attain high quality outputs, and cost-effective results in line with relevant regulatory requirements.
Conduct day-to-day activities ensuring compliance with stipulated policies, procedures and processes, and escalated identified noncompliance cases.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or equivalent is required.
knowledge and experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections.
