Job Title : Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation & IIoT

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales plans to target key industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, automotive, etc.
• Identify and qualify potential customers, understanding their automation and IIoT needs.
• Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, maintaining a strong pipeline.
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Provide technical expertise on industrial automation systems, IIoT platforms, sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and related technologies.
• Understand customer requirements, propose tailored solutions, and prepare technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver customized automation and IIoT solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in industrial automation, IIoT, and smart manufacturing.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, activity reports, and project status updates to senior management.
• Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and events to promote products and network with potential clients.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related field) or equivalent technical education.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, specifically within industrial automation or IIoT.
• Technical Skills:
• Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets, ability to develop strong customer relationships, and excellent negotiation skills.

Important notes:

• The candidate will be based in Dammam, KSA, and will handle Eastern Province
• A candidate with transferrable iqama is preferred.
• A candidate with driving license is an added advantage
• Salary range 8000-10000 SAR monthly + Yearly sales commission based on Target.
• Additional benefits like Insurance, 1-month vacation, to and fro air ticket (for expats), and end of benefits (as per KSA law).
• Arabic speaking candidates will have a preference
