Marketing Lead Specialist

Purpose of Job

Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels.

They undertake complex operational activities including revision of campaign concepts created by creative agencies and ensuring alignment with developed briefs.

Job Resposiblites

Marketing Campaign Planning and Development


  • Work closely with Awareness general department to collect and understand developed campaign briefs
  • Assess internal capabilities and accordingly identify campaign briefs where campaign concept development can be handled in-house vs. externally
  • Identify a list of creative agencies when needed, assess, recommend and liaise with the best-fit to handle campaign concept development
  • Communicate campaign briefs with selected creative agencies to enable the development of campaign concepts, ensuring proper understanding
  • Review developed campaign concept option by creative agencies against campaign briefs ensuring alignment with campaign briefs, highlight gaps, suggest recommendations, and select most suitable ones for adoption
  • Coordinate with relevant functions and communicate developed campaign concept to initiate campaign material production


Marketing Campaign Monitoring


  • Follow-up on the campaign’s material production ensuring timeliness of delivery and adherence to business needs, campaign briefs, objectives, concept, ZATCA’s brand image, and set guidelines
  • Review the developed campaign’s material ensuring adherence to the overall strategy and ZATCA’s identity and recommend amendments/ improvements, if needed


Organization and Operations


  • Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
  • Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
  • Perform other duties as requested


People Management


  • Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
  • Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or equivalent is required

Experience

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
