- Oversee the development and management of BIM models for softscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems.
- Collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure all design components are accurately reflected in the BIM model.
- Manage the integration of irrigation, planting, paving, and other landscape elements into a cohesive digital model.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and company protocols throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams in using BIM tools and workflows.
- Conduct clash detection and coordinate model reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring all relevant data is accessible to stakeholders.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of models and data.
- Facilitate collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Keep abreast of new BIM technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve processes.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in BIM management, ideally within the construction or landscape industry.
- Strong expertise in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks) and related tools.
- Proven experience managing BIM models for landscape elements such as softscape (plants, soil), hardscape (paving, decking), and irrigation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Familiarity with industry standards and local regulations related to landscape and irrigation design.
