Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and distribution of goods
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize productivity and reduce costs
- Ensure timely delivery and inventory management to meet company and client needs
- Monitor and evaluate logistics performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and transportation providers
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to logistics and transportation
- Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing projects and operational needs
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and forecast future logistics needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in logistics management, with a focus on short-term projects preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
