We are seeking a full-time CAD and Eplan Drafter to join our team, responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics using industry-leading software such as AutoCAD & Eplan. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and designers to create accurate and efficient designs for a variety of projects. A successful candidate will be responsible for executing drafting projects, such as the preparation of various drawings of network and low voltage electrical systems derived from layouts and sketches. The CAD Drafter will prepare 2D drawings and perform design drafting. The CAD Drafter will consult with project managers and engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards.
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of your project manager, review and execute project submittal requirements and help meet submittal due dates
- Ensure submittal package content is complete and technically accurate
- Provide customers with excellent service
- Creating detailed 2D drawings and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD & Eplan
- Developing schematics and layouts for electrical projects
- Building and modifying drawings using CAD software
- Qualifications and others:
- Experience with AutoCAD & Eplan including drafting techniques and standards desired
- Perform calculations of electrical loads
- Prepares technical specifications in Microsoft Word
- Prepares bill of materials and cost estimates in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work with others
