Job Title: Planning Manager

Location: Red Sea Project

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a seasoned Planning Manager to lead the preparation and scheduling of resources required to meet project execution requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Engineer to manage all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Scheduling:
• Prepare and manage project plans and schedules, including resource calculation, scheduling, and material procurement timelines.
• Tracking & Monitoring:
• Continuously track and monitor project progress to achieve targets, updating and rescheduling as necessary. Follow up with contractors to ensure alignment with the project plan.
• Reporting:
• Verify daily activity and progress reports from the execution department against the planning schedule. Prepare and present weekly and monthly project reports.
• Coordination:
• Collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle—from conceptualization to execution. Ensure effective coordination of drawings with all stakeholders.
• Budgeting & Cost Management:
• Prepare budgets, estimate costs, manage cash flow requirements, and review financial and physical progress. Prepare cost-to-complete analyses and engage in resource planning using ERP systems.
• Site Visits:
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address pending activities, solve physical problems, and ensure quality standards and project targets are met.

Working Environment:

• Primarily site-based.

Industry: Construction

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and management within the construction industry.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Job-Specific Technical Skills:

• Proficient in planning management, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of estimation, resource planning, and ERP systems related to planning, execution, and client billing.
