Key Accountabilities & Activities

  • Manage one of the Regions Security team consisting of inspectors and shift supervisors.
  • Report daily to the Regions Senior Security Manager and Director
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and professionalism.
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Conduct regular site-assessments of security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats, and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments, such as facilities, human resources, and legal, to address security-related issues or concerns.
  • Monitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and other relevant technologies.
  • Conduct investigations into security incidents, accidents, or breaches, and provide detailed incident reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging security technologies, and relevant regulations to enhance security operations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as NEOM Sectors, law enforcement agencies and security service providers.
  • Develop and deliver security training programs for employees, ensuring awareness and compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Manage access control systems and procedures, including the issuance, control, and revocation of access credentials.
  • Oversee the implementation and testing of emergency response plans and procedures.

Background, Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Relevant years’ experience in security or a related field, with a strong background in a leadership or Manager role.
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations, protocols, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Proven evidence of conducting Site security assessments and follow up action plans.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • CPR/First Aid certification and any relevant security certifications are advantageous

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English verbal and written essential, Arabic language advantageous.
  • Additional certifications or training in security, inspections, or related fields are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in security management.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East or on a Mega-Project advantageous
