Role Purpose

Within Oxagon, International Investment and Manufacturing (II&M) is one of the three core business units, responsible for delivering the strategy pillars underpinning the Oxagon vision.
II&M mandate is developing the manufacturing and innovation zones and aiming to attract and seamlessly onboard world-leading industrial companies, establishing advanced and clean operations in Oxagon.
To deliver the mandate and vision of the II&M, the Director of Operations is responsible for the operational support of all divisions within the BU, ensuring seamless execution of business activities and successful fulfilment of the mandate.
The role as Business Operations Events Specialist is to generally support the director with the day-to-day requirements and running of the division, with a focus on facilitating investor targeted activities such as international business trips, hospitality and events for incoming delegations, and general ad-hoc support of other divisions within the business unit.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics and hospitality planning and execution for incoming Investor delegations
- Logistics planning and execution for outgoing international business trips and roadshows
- Interface with other key NEOM and Oxagon stakeholders including, travel, HR, government affairs, and more
- Prioritize customer support and experience, ensuring the highest standard of quality
- Administrative and back-office support
- Purchasing and procurement
- Vendor management and relationships
- Ad-hoc executive presentations
- Ad-hoc support of other divisions within the business unit
Background, Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in customer centric jobs, with emphasis on customer experience
- Experience in highly procedural environments, ability to quickly interpret and comply with policies and procedures.
- Excellent work ethic
- Highly personable
- Basic skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other standard office tools
- Well organized and good planning capabilities
- Excellent English verbal and communication skills;
- Ability to work in stressful, fast moving and volatile environments
