Job Purpose
Reporting to the ELV Associate Director, the ELV Senior Design Manager shall form an integral part of the ELV team, responsible for the review of the ELV consultant design submissions - including concepts, coordination, design documentation and contract administration on projects, and liaison with the asset contractors to deliver a standard of product conducive to that of a 6-star property.
Job Responsibilities - Leadership
Project Duties
- Contribute to successful project completion and management by providing technical review services in accordance with project time and quality.
- Lead participation in design progress, design coordination meetings and workshops.
- Liaise with local authorities.
- Participate in preparation of technical RFPs.
- Responsible for design review of the Consultant / Contractor-designed ELV services - such as fire and voice alarm systems, telecommunication services, extra low voltage services, BMS as well as other related ELV utility systems as assigned.
- Participation in design review meetings and workshops.
- Preparation of meeting records, design review and design progress reports.
- Provide input into any value engineering exercises
Maintain quality of work by:
- Ensuring adherence to Corporate Standards.
- Ensuring that all activities are performed in a safe manner and comply to TRSDC’s OH&S requirements.
- Ensuring the relevant QA procedures are followed.

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Communication / IT discipline (B.Eng or B.Sc ).
- 8+ years of relevant experience in design and delivery of projects within the consulting industry (preferable).
Job Requirements - Skills
- Proficient with Basic Microsoft office software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Sound knowledge of design software.
- Experience in the design of the ICT/ELV Engineering (structured cabling systems, data networking, fibre optic infrastructure, WiFi and various wireless technologies, IT servers.
- Have a basic understanding of CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, audio video intercom, public address, systems and how they work across an IT network.
- Good understanding of design and engineering procedures.

- An assertiveness and aptitude to lead and direct.
- Background experience in Design Engineering / hands-on ELV installation
