HR Operations Manager


The Role:

The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, procedures, and practices. This role focuses on the day-to-day running of the business and recruitment, ensuring that HR operations align with business objectives and support the company's growth and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Management:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Liaise with Directors and Managers to understand their HR requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure best HR practices.
  • Recommend and implement an appropriate pay structure based on market trends, including the annual salary review process.
  • Keep up to date with HR legislation by researching and attending necessary events.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage all recruitment needs for the company, including implementing and continually developing a robust recruitment process.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the recruitment process, including advertising, reviewing and selecting CVs, attending interviews, and selecting candidates.
  • Manage the timely distribution of offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Ensure all relevant documents are received to process visas and required permits promptly.
  • Manage the preparation, organisation, and delivery of company induction sessions.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain the employee handbook.
  • Drive and support the creation and maintenance of job descriptions.
  • Undertake regular employee satisfaction surveys and recommend actions to nurture employee engagement.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances and other issues.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.

Performance Management and Development:

  • Implement and manage a robust performance management process aimed at driving high performance.
  • Manage a training plan that details required training and is delivered within the agreed timescales and ensures outcomes are appropriately measured and reported on.
  • Support and coach the management team on all people leadership matters.

Administrative and Operational HR:

  • Oversee the payroll process.
  • Recommend, review, and implement cost-effective medical insurance policies for employees.
  • Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations.
  • Oversee payroll and performance evaluation systems.
  • Review and approve/modify budgets.
  • Manage and develop direct reports.
  • Drive and support employee disciplinary actions, including investigation, mediation, warnings, and terminations.


Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5 years experience in an HR Manager role in the KSA.
  • Outstanding Arabic and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well-developed leadership ability.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy in an environment of strict confidentiality.
