Payroll Accountant

As a Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for processing and managing payroll for employees in compliance with KSA and local payroll regulations. Your main duties will include calculating and processing payroll and other deductions, preparing and distributing paychecks or direct deposits, and maintaining accurate records of employee payroll information. Additionally, you will respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits and collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information. You will also be responsible for preparing and filing payroll reports and staying up to date on payroll regulations and industry trends. As a Payroll Accountant, you may also be required to assist with other accounting tasks as needed.


Responsibilities:

  1. Process and manage payroll for employees
  2. Ensure compliance with KSA and local payroll regulations
  3. Calculate and process payroll and other deductions
  4. Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
  5. Maintain accurate records of employee payroll information
  6. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  7. Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information
  8. Prepare and file payroll reports
  9. Stay up to date on payroll regulations and industry trends
  10. Assist with other accounting tasks as needed

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in payroll accounting
  2. Fluency in English and Arabic
  3. Experience with ERP systems
  4. Good knowledge about contracting and construction field

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
