- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical problems on all Rental equipment at the site.
- Submit accurate and complete Inspection Reports, as required by the Service procedures at the site.
- Note and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance on the equipment inspected at the site.
- Responsible for minor and major Electrical repairs within his technical ability.
- In conjunction with other Service personnel, fit, connect and arrange setups, including cabling of Generators and Auxiliary equipment, in accordance to the technical specifications / requirements, maintaining safety precautions at all times.
- Perform manual synchronization of Generator sets to live utility signal by using the EMCP control panel.
- Monitor and adjust vital Generator set meter readings (i.e., kW, A, kVAR, p.f. etc.) for the satisfactory operation of the units.
- Work overtime when required. Ready to work at any location, wherever required in the Kingdom.
Skills
Education:
Secondary level, followed by a minimum of 3 - 4 years in Electrical Apprenticeship.
Experience:
- Must have at least 6 years working in field service and workshop on Diesel Generators (preferably CAT), transformers, panel boards, and cablings.
- Must show the ability to work independently, with good knowledge of the English language to enable him to read and understand Service manuals and write Work Orders.
- Knowledge on parallel operation of Generator sets is a must. Medium Voltage works experience is preferable.
