As a Procurement Quality Control Supervisor for Design and Procurement, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of procurement processes within our organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for procurement activities related to design and procurement
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and client requirements
- Conduct inspections and audits of vendor facilities and products to evaluate and verify quality and compliance
- Monitor the performance of suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery
- Manage the non-conformance process and collaborate with vendors to resolve quality issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in procurement processes and implement effective solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities and provide relevant reports and metrics to management
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient procurement processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement quality control, preferably in design and procurement
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and processes in the procurement context
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and client requirements
- Experience in conducting inspections and audits of vendor facilities and products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar are preferred
