Duties and Responsibilities
3.1. Respond to referrals for audio vestibular services and render care within division
guidelines, including but not limited to assess, diagnosis, treat disorders related to
hearing impairment in both adult and paediatric age group.
3.2. Use special instruments and qualitative assessment methods, including standardized
test, using hearing battery such as Tympanogram, Audiogram, ffid ABR,
Otoacoustic emissions to analyse and diagnose the nature and extent of impairment.
3.3. Modiff assessment and interview technique to assort with different age and
social group.
3.4. Working with patient using hearing aids.
3.5. Work with family members in cochlear implant patient's pre and post and show
them communication-enhancing techniques to use at home to ensure necessary and
complete work performed.
3.6. Attend continuing education program designed to improve competency.
3.7. Assist in division planning and developing.

6.1.1. Good standards of English both speaking and writing.
6.1.2. Computer literate.
6.1.3. Good inter personal skills and able to accept constructive criticisms.
6.1.4. Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team.
