Our very important principal and family-based client in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking a friendly, responsible, and energetic
caregiver to be based in Riyadh, and provide quality childcare and light household duties.
The ideal candidate will have a
background in autism, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, be passionate about working with children, flexible, dependable, and solution-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and safe childcare for 1 child age 9 with special needs
- Establish a daily routine including grooming, leisure and play activities.
- Follow and implement skill acquisition strategies as prescribed by BCBA
- Administer medication and prepare meals as prescribed
- Support during morning/nighttime routines including
- Plan and participate in fun and educational activities, such as games, arts, and outdoor play
- Maintain a tidy and organized play area and children's bedrooms and workspace
- Assist with light household duties related to childcare, such as laundry and meal preparation
- Communicate effectively with parents and interdisciplinary teams regarding daily schedules, meals, and any issues that may arise
- Respect and follow household rules and traditions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of childcare experience
- 25-35 years of age (male preferred)
- Must be physically fit is a must.
- Valid Board certified autism technician (BCAT) if applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 24 months
- Fluency in English (Arabic a plus)
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Non-smoker and comfortable with pets (if applicable)
Additional Job Details:
- 40 hours of work per week, 6 days per week
- In home and in the community
- On call as needed (travel, illness, etc.)
