Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s staffing needs. This role involves managing the recruitment process from job posting through to the hiring of candidates, ensuring a smooth and effective experience for both the candidates and the hiring team.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job requisition, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates using various channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications to match job requirements.
- Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, and provide feedback throughout the interview process. - Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to understand hiring needs and job specifications, and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and guiding candidates through the recruitment process.
- Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate information, and metrics to track the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are advantageous. - Experience: Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a track record of successfully managing the recruitment process and sourcing candidates.
- Skills: - Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques, tools, and best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. - Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong organizational and analytical skills.
